Getting in Nepal

Nepal has only one international airport the Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. This airport hosts flights from major cities of the world either through transits or direct flights. There are numerous international as well as Nepalese carrier planes coming in and out of Kathmandu Nepal. The usual routes to Kathmandu are via Singapore, Thailand, India, Bangladesh, Qatar, UAE, Hongkong, China, Korea, Oman etc.

Via Land tourists can access to Nepal from India-Nepal border and Nepal-China border. There are numerous checkpoints through which people can come to Nepal. Sunauli, Birgunj, Nepalgunj, Dhangadi and others are checkpoints in India-Nepal border. From Nepal-China border tourists can enter Nepal via Kerung, Hilsa and Kodari area.
